by Hayate Abul Digital Marketing

One of the most well known and loved fitness apps throughout the Internet, “Google Fit” is all set to release three new features for the app. The features are Dark Mode, Sleep Pattern Recognition, and Running Routes Mapping. The new features will make the Google Fit App even more insightful and user-friendly. You will be able to track your sleeping patterns and running routes which will help you in your day to day work out regime. Customization options such as the new Dark mode will let you see the app in a completely new light.

Feature 1: Dark Mode

Users will now be able to switch their apps into a dark theme, making the app contrast better. To enable the dark theme, all you need to do is to go on your Profile and select the Settings tab. You will be able to switch to the theme there. The feature is supposed to be released by 9 August.

Feature 2: Sleep Pattern Recognition

The Google Fit will now be able to read and record your sleep patterns more effectively. The app will create Sleep charts that show your sleeping pattern.  The app does not seem to be showing details like deep or light sleep yet. You can also merge the Sleep pattern option with any other fitness app that you are using. The new feature will give you suggestions and tips on whether or not you need more sleep. You can also share this information from the app itself. The option of Add and Edit is also available if the associated apps are not operating to your liking. All the data can be viewed from the home screen of your Google Fitness app.

There is an improvement which will help track your daytime activities too. The addition is relatively simple, but it should make the Google Fit app more wholesome and a place it a cut above the rest of the competition. This feature will also be added by 9 August.

Feature 3: Running Routes Mapping

The app will now help you map out your running or bicycling routes.  The iOS users will now be able to track their walks and bicycling routines, just like the Android users. This also contains the workout calculated through the smartwatches and mobile apps that are linked. This feature will also be available at the same time as the other two mentioned above. After the addition, the Google Fit app is deemed to gain even more active users than before.
