Google Chrome Steps into the Dark Mode

It not only attracts developers but also compels them to launch the ongoing trend with their services. After YouTube and Android message, it is Chrome that expresses its intention to forward this legacy. The first step of Chrome into the dark mode might be for MacOS. Chrome is all set to reduce the eye strain for its user in the very near future.

Before moving to the installation and enabling of dark mode feature into your system, we should know about the basic information about Dark mode. Actually, Dark mode is the universal dark theme for the web. It is an Add-on for the web browser that enables its user to turns its screen into dark whenever they want especially at night.

Your browser’s toolbar works as the ON/OFF button for enabling and disabling the dark mode effect on your screen. In case you are not comfortable with the new feature or want previous on-screen effect or you want to test some other kind of modes, you can go to the optional page where you can choose at least twenty more alternatives.

Chrome is facilitating its users to remove the dark mode only for a specific location also. If you wanted to remove the dark mode effect for a proper website or page rather than to exclude it for all web domain. You have to place this domain address to the desired area according to the Chrome instructions only.

As the dark mode facility is still under development, so we have to wait for a while. If you want to still enable it into your system, go through with the following instructions.

First of all get Google Chrome Canary version as this feature can enable on this version only.
Open the Chrome by clicking its shortcut twice and open the properties.
Open the target tab add tuck it with “Force-dark-mode” option.
Select to “apply” to execute the change.

The above-given steps are the methods to enabling Dark mode by force-dark-mode option so it is a hack only. You can enable the dark mode for the various web pages with the help of Chrome setting also.

For this, you need to go to the setting and choose your theme.

You can apply the dark effect by adding an extension with the desired website also. But you cannot do it with the window screen because of Window security which limits the extension or theme to change the windows appearance.
