Aluminum Scrap Melting Furnace Turns Waste into Treasure!

by Luoyang Judian Professional Steel Casting and Rolling Equipment M

In our daily life, there are a lot of cans, scrap bottles, scrap metal, and others. By using the aluminum scrap melting furnace, we can turn them into treasures. So, what is an aluminum scrap melting furnace? How to turn aluminum scrap into treasure? Today, Luoyang Judian will show you the answers.

In enterprises, people often pack the collected cans in a unified way. And next, smelt them into treasures that we can use again. The scrap aluminum melting furnace plays an important role.

The aluminum scrap melting furnace is a kind of intermediate frequency induction furnace. It is a special melting equipment suitable for smelting high-quality aluminum, steel, and alloys. It has the advantages of fast melting speed, high production efficiency, strong adaptability, flexible use, good electromagnetic stirring effect, convenient start-up and operation, and molten steel is covered by slag (reducing atmospheric impact Contamination of molten steel) and other advantages. The complete set of equipment of the intermediate frequency induction furnace includes the power supply and electrical control part, furnace body part, transmission device, and water cooling system.

The intermediate frequency induction furnace is especially suitable for large, medium, and small furnaces with a capacity of tens of tons of 10kg. It is workable for melting steel, cast iron, copper, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys. It has strong adaptability to furnace materials and is suitable for intermittent operation. The furnace structure and usage are similar to power frequency centerless induction furnaces.

The intermediate frequency induction furnace usually consists of four parts: power supply, furnace body (including the induction coil and the crucible made of refractory materials), capacitor group (used to improve power factor), control, and operating systems.

How Does Aluminum Scrap Melting Furnace Work?

Put the aluminum alloy ingots or recycled materials (scrap aluminum parts) into the feeding trolley (about 300kg each time), and put the aluminum alloy ingots or recycled materials in the feeding trolley into the intermediate frequency melting furnace through the feeding machine. In the combustion chamber of the induction furnace, the materials are heated, and the waste gas and smoke generated during the intermediate frequency induction furnace are discharged through the chimney. And the low-temperature aluminum liquid behind the intermediate frequency induction furnace flows from the higher intermediate frequency induction furnace area into the lower heat preservation area. In the heat preservation zone, the molten aluminum is raised to the specified temperature and kept warm. Open the furnace door in the heat preservation area to refine, degas, and remove slag from the molten aluminum, purify the molten aluminum, and keep the temperature of the molten aluminum within the set aluminum tapping temperature range.

Advantages

1. Under the same capacity, the input power of the intermediate frequency furnace is high, which can be 2 to 3 times that of the power frequency furnace, thus greatly improving the melting rate of the furnace and reducing power consumption.

2. There is no need for residual melt and large frit, and it can be fitted at any time to reduce power consumption.

3. Either pouring out all or part of the melted metal is OK each time, so the operation is more flexible.

4. The power is easy to adjust, and can adapt to different requirements for power during melting, heat preservation, and oven.

Now you must know how to turn aluminum scrap into treasure. If you have any questions about the aluminum scrap melting furnace, please get in touch with us without hesitation.
