Some of the Uses of Talc - There are maximum people who use talc products almost on an everyday basis. Although, they do not realize what role the talc plays or whether there is any talc in it or not.

Usage of Talc in Making Ceramics - In the year 2011, in the United States, there was a talc consumption of around 17% while manufacturing ceramic products like ceramic tiles, dinnerware, and pottery and bathroom fixtures.

Usage of Talc in Making Plastics - There was around 26% consumption of talc in the year 2011 for manufacturing plastic products. Mainly it is used as a type of filler. The talc particle's platy shape can even increase the product’s stiffness, like vinyl, polypropylene, polyester and nylon.

The softness of the talc allows the product to be easily applied to the skin and also removed from the skin, without causing any irritation or abrasion to the skin.

Usage of Talc in Paper - The organic fibres and its pulp are used for making papers. The pulp is made up of rags, woods and various other types of organic materials.
