The Munsters

I would like to dedicate this blog to Lily and Herman Munster and Grandpa too.  Another sitcom from the 60's so dear to my heart.  Fans of the Munsters Come On In!  The Munsters ran from 1964 to 1966 and only 70 episodes were produced in that time frame. 

EPISODES

A family who thought they were normal and everybody else was strange. A fire breathing dragon called Spot, for a pet.    A son with pointed ears, Eddie, Grandpa who could turn into a bat, Lily and Herman Munster, and the beautiful Marilyn.

When I was a little girl, before the days of the internet, I had always wondered what Yvonne de Carlo looked like under here green makeup .  I did not know very much about her at the time.  Be sure and do a search for her, if you did not know, she was quite a looker.  If you are on My Space, her son has a page dedicated to his mother. 

What were your favorite episodes.

One of my favorites was the episode where Herman thought Lilly was going to have a baby.  Infact, Lilly was just planning to baby sit one of Eddies friends. Eddies friend brings over a wind up toy, that looks like Frakenstein.  Herman sees it walking towards him, and grabs it in excitement and yells out My son, My son, look grandpa, it's my boy.
