What shall I create RevPage for?

by Wincer Song Founder
Wincer Song Magnate II Deluxe   Founder
RevPage is a marketing tool. But it means different thing for different people.

Now I am going to give you some tips how to create a NICE RevPage.

First of all, you have to know how to choose a topic you want to create revpage for.

It should be something YOU REALLY LIKE.

DON'T create a revpage for a scam program, it damages your reputation.

Why not create a Revpage for bestsellers at Amazon.com?

Don't waste your time in creating revpage which is created by others for many times.

The second, add content to revpage.

Make sure all content are related to your topic.  People like to read your personal reviews.

Also, if you help people save time on getting information they want, your revpage is valueable.

Leave your tips below.

Good Luck!

Thanks for clarifying this issue. Personally I like to see other members' reviews on sites they have found on the internet. If I haven't been there before I always try to find out more about what people are saying about an opportunity or site before I join. This is a good practice for anyone wanting to invest in a program. Apsense is great.

Cheers!

Thanks, Wincer for your wonderful creation called RevPage. I am able experiment in so many ways. It is the only page where JavaScript functionality exists as per my experience. Moreover, I have found its impact in SEO. People have to understand the strength of this page to dominate the search pages. As you rightly said, spammers are wasting their time here when in fact they can achieve a lot more by properly exploiting it!

Yes RevPages are a great feature. When set up properly. With so many members there are many that promote the same program. So if you copy/paste the text offered by tte program owners your revpage will NOT be indexed properly. Because it is duplicate content. However if you make an effort to write a personal review about a program (why you like it, what you think are strong points, how the program can beneficial to others) it will be picked up, especially if you pay extra attention to the keywords. Do not use only the most obvious because you will have a lot of competition than. Let's say you are promoting a hosting service: if you put only "hosting"' in the tags there will be millions competing with you. If you ad the tag "hosting company with good help desk" the competion on that keyword will be much smaller!

@ oldbuddy. I feel the urge to quote you! I also wrote an article, but many people seem to go ahead without caring... more than 60% of the RevPages are salespage excerpts or even worse, simple copies, used to post affiliate links. Honestly speaking, I like the idea of posting an affiliate link, but I need a personal view on the subject, before clicking the link. Actually, that is why I am spenting my time to read a REVIEW! What do I find instead? An advertising page. And even a bad written one!
So if we want to change things, let's post REAL REVIEWS on the RevPages!
@ Wincer
Thanks for taking the bull from its horns! It seems that lots of people take advantage of those RevPages to post advertisments, INSTEAD OF THEIR OPPINIONS! I already decided to vote against -- aka dislike the page or something as close as possible.
If this will still be less than enough, I will move to taugher solutions, such as warning directly or even reporting as SPAM.
