@Katie F. That's a nice topic. Many people are fighting with weight and will be interested in how you fought the battle. I will advise you to register for an affiliate program marketing weight loss products whose banners you can put on your blog.

Those who are attracted by your 'obesity to victory' story may want to check the products out and even buy them thus adding some coins into your pocket.

Blog about subjects you are comfortable with in terms of knowledge, information, experiences and desires.

People want to read fresh content and you will get readership if you can give fresh articles from a personal perspective laced with your personal experiences regardless of where you are.

I was basically told from a business network to blog about what I know. make the readers feel I really relate to them. I have a few angles I can take.

Katie, as a single Mom I am sure you have tons of stories to tell. People love to hear stories because they can relate to them in their own life. Just pretend you are sitting down with you BFF and talking about what your kid/kids did this time! Some will be funny, some will be sad, some may be what you learned from your kid today, some will help others cope with their kids. Just a few thoughts....

Katie, people for the most part don't care about you...not the ones that are willing to spend money that is...(I care though)...people only care about themselves and their needs and wants, capitalize on that...if as a single mom you found a way to save money that other moms can use right away or how they can do something that they might not know do that...if you can't gather enough material on that then find something else...you goal is to make money...I once did something that I thought was ove
