The Importance OF Social Teachings of Holy Quran
Islam
is not just a religion but it provides a complete code of life regarding
different aspects of life. It gives knowledge about different concepts in Islam
whether it is related to religious, social, political, economic or spiritual. It presents
a balanced way of life by eliminating the extremes in any issue. Islam has
divided religiosity into two dimensions: Ibadat (obligations towards God) and muamalat
(obligations towards society). A person cannot be considered true Muslim who
does not fulfill the obligations of these two dimensions. It is important for a
person to fulfill the responsibilities towards Allah Almighty and towards the
society. Allah says in Quran that: "Our Lord! Surely whomsoever Thou makest
enter fire, him Thou hast indeed brought to disgrace, and there shall be no
helpers for the unjust."(Quran 3:192)
The teachings of Holy Quran
always give the lesson of Justice and moderation. Allah says in Quran that it
is important for the Muslim to follow the commands of Allah Almighty for a
better life in this world and the life hereafter. Allah bestowed Holy Quran to
Muslims for seeking guidance.
Allah says in Quran that: "Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire." (Quran2:201)

The first and the basic teaching of Quran are about Tawhid. A Muslim must have a firm believe on the oneness of Allah Almighty which is the basic requirement to be a Muslim. There are different verses of Quran which shows and tells that the concept of Tawhid is how much important for a Muslim. Allah say in Quran about the concept of Tawhid that: “Say: He is Allah, the One and Only” (Quran 112:1)
“Behold! Verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie.” (Quran 10:66)
These verses are regarding the Oneness of Allah Almighty. He is the one and only who created humans and managing the system of this whole universe alone. Allah Almighty has also stressed that it is important for a Muslim to treat well with their other fellow beings.

It
is important for a Muslim to first believe on the oneness of Allah Almighty and
worship Him and secondly do well with other fellow Muslims. Always behave well
with them and help them in the hour of need through charity as it is one of the
ways to be close to Allah Almighty. Allah says in Quran that: “Kind words and compassion
are better than a charity that is followed by insult. God is Rich, Clement.” (Quran
2:263)

should you not fight in God's cause and for those oppressed men, women, and
children who cry out, 'Lord, rescue us from this town whose people are
oppressors! By your grace, give us a protector and helper'."(4:75)
