Some Effective Ways Of Performing Salah

Prayer is regarded as the Mairaj of Muslim or the communication with Allah. The fact is that prayer purifies and clean your mind five times each day and also brings peace in your life as well. Prayers are regarded as a main and important way of thanking Almighty Allah and it also reminds him of the fact that Allah is watching over his life. Therefore, it can give the courage for facing the toughest times.

 

Preparing for prayer:

 

Doing preparation for prayers include purifying and your clothes as well. You can also perform wudu, ghusl by depending on your physical state and requirement. You must wear clean clothes and men must cover the part of their body between naval and knees, however it is preferable to wear a shirt. Your lower garment must be long enough till the knees and it should also remain above the ankles as well.

 

Facing the Qibla:

 

The Qibla shows the direction towards the Kaaba. There are some compasses that are modified for this purpose and they are available now. Many of the hotel rooms also have marked the direction of Qiblah on the roof. Your vision must be towards the point where your head is touching the ground during Sajdah.

 

Making the Right Intention for Praying:

 

You do not have to say it very loud, instead you need to know which prayer of day you are performing, what will be the type of rakaat and the number of rakaats.

 

Performing the Takbirul Ihram:

 

Your prayers begin with this point. You must raise your hands, your palms must face upwards to your ear lobes and then say Allahu Akbar.

 

Performing Qiyam:

 

Qiyam is the point where you stand up and all of your hands reach your chest and you must recite Surah Al Fatiha and another smaller portion of Holy Quran. You voice must be low, however if it is not, thinking prayers in your brain and mind is also regarded as a useful and valid method.

 

It is always better to read and recite a short portion of Holy Quran. It can certainly help you in memorizing some small Surahs of Holy Quran by heart. The last 30 parts of Quran contain many small Surahs that are quite easy to memorize. Some commonly recited Surahs are Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah, Al-Falaq, Surah Al-Nas and Surah Al-Kafirun.

 

Performing Ruku:

 

Ruku is like a bow and you have to make your hands free and them bow, do place your hands on your knees and your back must be parallel to ground so you must bow in a tilted position

and recite Subhan Rabbi al Adheem.

 

Performing Prostration:

Say Allahu Akbar and prostrate by placing during your forehead, palms and knees on the ground. The elbow of a women might touch the ground, but he must keep their elbows raised above the ground.

 

Rising to Sitting Position:

 

When you are in this type of position, you need to keep your eyes at your lap. Men often turn up the heel and put weight on the turned foot. Women also need to keep their feet and soles up and under the body. Here recite Atta Hiyaatu lillahi was-salawatu and also recite durood shareef as well. After reciting durood shareef, say Assalam- o-alaikum  wa Rahmatullah by turning head to right and they say it after turning the head left.
