Spanish lamb burger recipe
If you are an avid meat lover, chances are that lamb cuisines rank pretty high in your preferred meals. And it is a good thing if that is true because of the nutritional value lamb carries. To make a lamb burger at home, you need the following ingredients.
1 slice bread
1/4 cup milk
550g Lamb
2 table spoon chopped parsley
2 table spoon smoked paprika
2 table spoon olive oil
1 red capsicum, sliced into strips
1 onion, sliced into wedges
Toasted Ciabatta Rolls
1/3 cup aioli
130g leafy vegetables like lettuce
Preparation:
Step 1
Put sliced bread on a plate and pour some milk over it. Wait for two minutes and squeeze out the excess milk. Cut it into small pieces and put in a bowl. Sprinkle mince, parsley and paprika along with seasoning. Combine everything and form a 11 cm wide lamb patty.
Step 2
Put half the oil in a large frying pan and heat over medium-high. Char capsicum for 5-6 minutes till it is tender. Similarly, do it for onion, heating and stirring it for 3 minutes. Transfer both to a different plate. In the remaining oil put some chorizo and heat for 2-3 minutes until it is browned and crisp. Now reduce the heat to minimum to heat the patties. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3
Spread the burger base and sprinkle half of the aioli over it. Put some salad leaves on top with the remaining chorizo, capsicum and onion. Place the patty inside and add some more onion and aioli with the ciabatta rolls. Design the patty with the capsicum, onion and salad leaves which are left and cover with the slice of bun.
