A few of the glass objects found here are even more than 3000 years old.
  • Smithsonian Air and Space Museum: Located in Washington, DC, this is famed for being the most visited museum in the United States. The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum was established in 1946 and features a number of scientifically and historically significant objects, which includes the Bell X-1 which broke the sound barrier, the Friendship 7 capsule flown by John Glenn, the Apollo 11 command module, and even the Apollo 11 command module.
