- Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, stated the key objectives for Microsoft are three: productivity, building out an intelligent cloud, and making computing more personal and natural.
- Nadella said they’re a platform company, with the sole purpose to help harmonize the multiplicity of interests. That’s one of the strongest reasons that lead them to partner with Salesforce.
- Regarding productivity, the new Salesforce Lightning integration will impact users by counting Salesforce content among their productivity goals and benchmarks.
- This integration will be ready by next year. However, they expect it to be a five-year continuous product journey for it to be completely finished.
