Quickie Indian Dinner Recipes for last minute guests!

Paneer recipe is popular in the Indian Cuisine and variety of tasty and delicious paneer dishes in dry or gravy form is the favourite of many.  Most of the the paneer dishes are easy to make and are most common part of Indian dinner recipes. Here are few delicious and healthy paneer sabzi that can be easily prepared by anyone.

Handi Paneer

  • This creamy, spicy and rich flavoured Handi Paneer recipe is made by heating little oil in a pan and adding whole garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, slit green chillies, onion and saute it till onion turns golden.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till they turn pulpy and mushy. Add turmeric, red chilli and garam masala powder, little salt and mix well. Now add cashew paste, fresh cream and little water to form a thick gravy.
  • Finally add paneer cubes and little kasuri methi. When cooked garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with naan or tandoori roti.

Paneer Pasanda

  • For a tasty, smooth, creamy and mild spicy paneer sabzi in gravy form try Paneer Pasanda Recipe.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger-garlic-chilli paste, cardamom and bay leaves,add onion paste,tomato puree and cashewnut paste mix well. Add garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric and red chilli powder, salt,mix well, add water and cook for few minutes.
  • Add kasuri methi and shallow fried paneer cubes and mix. Serve hot after adding fresh cream, and garnishing with coriander leaves.

Paneer Kofta

  • Paneer Kofta recipe is an interesting variation to be tried out.
  • The koftas are made by mixing together grated paneer, red chilli powder, corn flour, salt and crushed almond and frying them in hot oil until they turn golden brown.
  • For creamy thick gravy heat little oil, add dry red chilli, black cardamoms saute them and add turmeric and red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and little water.
  • Stir for a while and add beaten curd and tomato puree. When gravy is thick add fried paneer koftas, garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves and serve this yummy paneer dish with jeera rice or butter naan.

Mughlai Paneer

  • Mughlai Paneer recipe must be tried if you wish to prepare rich, creamy, flavoured, less spicy paneer dish for your family that goes well with pulao, plain rice, or naan.
  • Make a smooth paste of onion and cashew nuts with little water.
  • Heat little oil, add shahi jeera and this paste and cook well. Add sugar, salt, garam masala powder, stir and add curds.
  • Add paneer cubes, cook for a while and finally add kasuri methi and fresh cream. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Kadai Paneer

  • With Kadai Paneer Recipe you can make a delicious semi- dry paneer sabzi by frying chopped onions in little oil and adding ginger-garlic paste, saute for few minutes and add tomatoes and pounded red chillies and coriander seeds and mix well.
  • Now add capsicum, salt and garam masala along with paneer cubes, mix and cook for a while. Add kasuri methi and garnish with coriander leaves.
