Outreach in Kaduna and Prison in Yola
Christ Embassy Nigeria continues to impact Nigeria for the kingdom of God. In Kaduna there was a great excitement recently as a wave of revival swept through the city. What is interesting is that the move had its roots in a football match between the Christ Embassy Kaduna football team and Tonjones Football Club. This goes to show that God Jesus can use any means, including sports, to spread the message of the Gospel.
The Christ Embassy International team won the game of football but there was something much more important at stake; the eternal destination of the people gathered. After the match, the Believers Love World team seized the opportunity to distribute copies of the powerful devotional authored by the Christ Embassy founder and minister Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as well as share the Gospel with the over 3,000 people gathered. The team went on to hold outreaches in different parts of Kaduna city and there was a great harvest of souls everywhere. According to Sister Chidi Omoni, who participated in the outreach, the locals were very receptive: "It was so refreshing...everywhere I went, the people were so receptive. After I led one lady to Christ and left, she ran after me and asked me to come back and preach to two of her friends who had just come to visit. I went back, preached to them and got them saved as well." It is amazing what God can achieve when willing men and women avail themselves as vessels for His service.
Elsewhere in Nigeria, the Christ Embassy Yola family decided to share the love of Christ with inmates at the prison in Numan. This Special Global Service is the 2nd edition of its kind birthed of the Spirit, to create a glorious time of fellowship, teaching and impartation for us as a nation in an atmosphere of the miraculous, as we all bask in the divine presence. The activity was carried out in conjunction with the ReachOut Nigeria Foundation. Personal effects as well as copies of Rhapsody of Realities were handed out. Pastor Emmanuel, who was leading the team, read from the daily devotional and from the resulting altar call, many inmates gave their lives to Christ. The Deputy Controller of the prison had this to say about this great occasion: "This visit was very much appreciated; such a thing in this magnitude has never been experienced here before."
