Life was going on, while I was doing something else
During the past 2 to 3 years, I've been more or less away from the online hustle and bustle trying to destress and figure out - what next. Then out of the blue came the pandemic - enough said. We're all coping with it the best way we can - at least I hope we are. No surprises and no inspiring news of my own to tell friends here at Apsense. My hope is that you're all coping too and not stressed.
Now I'm back and destressed - well as much as can be expected given the new set of rules. Summer is on the way here, trees are green, the birds are chirping, veggies are growing as long as we don't get more frost and almost all is right with the world.
Gardening has been my saviour, even during winter. There's something about getting back to nature, putting your hands in the soil, working the ground even in the rain - not to mention growing your own food, whether out of necessity or just for the pure joy of it. Going outside the front door and plucking salad leaves, onions, leeks, kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and a host of other delicious veggies - there's nothing like it. It's been good. It was good to get away for a while - but it's great to be back.
Thanks for listening and stay safe everyone.

Isn't the garden just glorious when plants and veggies are sprouting their goodies all over. Greetings to you and your wife.

Welcome back Lucy and I am sure it won't be much longer until life is back to normal, whatever that is for you. I know my wife has our place sprouting beautiful blooms and edibles all over.
