How to Unblock Someone on Gmail Account?

Gmail has been offering two ways to block any email address you don’t want to see from a specific sender: a filter and a Google Block option within the email itself. And to unblock someone on Gmail from a filter, you need to remove that Id from the filter you made to prevent the sender.

However, if you’ve no idea how you can unblock someone from your end, you can follow the guidelines to complete the process.

Quick Guideline to Unblock Someone on Gmail Platform

Gmail removes its domain with the username from your list through the filters or blocks them. So the first step is to locate the filter that deletes emails.

Step 1: Select the Settings - the gear icon, then choose Settings.

Step 2: Visit the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.

Step 3: In The following filters are applied to all incoming mail section, locate the filter that you want to edit or delete.

After you locate the filter that blocks the email address, edit it to remove an address. Here we go!

Step 4: Next to the filter, select Edit to open the filter details.

Step 5: In the “From field,” delete only the addresses that should be unblocked.

Step 6: Select Continue.

Step 7: Choose how Gmail will handle emails that the filter catches; for example, choose to delete email from blocked senders. Then, select the Update filter to save your changes.

This is how you can unblock those email addresses that have been blocked due to the filters you have set up. However, you can delete the filters entirely. But how you do it is just follows the steps down below:

·        Get back to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab in the settings.

·        Locate the filter blocking email addresses and select “delete.”

·        Select OK to confirm the delete.
