·         You will find the 'Homepage' section under 'General' with the URL listed next to it. Select the 'Homepage' section on the 'General' tab.

·         Change which page loads when a new tab or window is opened using the drop-down menus above the Homepage bar. Replace the URL with "https://www.google.com.".

·         When you close the Preferences menu, a message will appear asking you to confirm that you want to change your homepage. Click "Change homepage" to confirm, and that's it!

·         To access Chrome's settings, open the menu option the browser offers. Then click on the 'Settings' option. The browser will take you to an internal page, chrome://settings/.

·         You will now move to the 'On startup' panel. Click on the option that says 'Open a specific page' or 'Set of pages.' Here, you will choose to 'Add a new page.'

·         Then, type "http://www.google.com," and then click the 'Add' button in the URL.
