Farmers always use pesticides to protect their crops, but these may result in the persticides ramain in our food when cooking, because pesticides are not easy to remove. Here is the guide on how to remove pesticides for your food.

Hold the fruits or vegetables under cool running water. Allow the water to run between any leaves and crevices.

Rub the fruits and vegetables with your hands to remove any dirt or debris. Scrub very dirty produce, such as root vegetables and mushrooms, with a produce brush.

Peel fruits and vegetables known to contain a wide array of pesticides, such as potatoes, apples and peaches to reduce pesticide exposure.

If you are concerned about pesticides on the vegetables you consume, you can take many precautions to limit your exposure risk. Organic produce is grown without the use of pesticides, theoretically creating pesticide-free vegetables. Chemicals used on long-tended agricultural plots can persist in the soil, but overall pesticide residues of organic produce are extremely low or non-existent. Eating a variety of vegetables also helps to reduce your exposure to pesticides. Vegetable variety literally spreads out your risk by introducing vegetables from different farms and plots that have received a variety of treatments.

Another way is use nitrate tester to test the food nitrate level, this can show you how many pesticides on your food so that you are sure they are safe or not without too much or less pesticides on them.
