Indigo powder is a blue coloring agent which is obtained from indigo leaves. Glycoside (combo of glucose and indoxyl) is the compound which is responsible for coloring action.

Dye is prepared by soaking the indigo leaves in water and fermenting it. Powder is prepared by sun drying the leaves and then crushing them.

When the dye starts collecting at the corner of the bowl then it is ready to use on the hair.

Your hair must be clean and dry before applying the Indigo Blue Black Hair Color.
