Garmin is delighted to present GNC 355. a GPS navigator with approach guidance and inbuilt Comm radio along with Localizer Performance with Vertical (LPV), It is made for aircraft that weigh more than 2700 kg or less, and experimental aircraft. Aircraft owners can combine GNC 355 into the already existing avionics stack due to the tall design. A lively, colorful touchscreen display is a usual feature which denotes Garmin excellence. a dual concentric knob along with home buttons offer adaptability when interfacing with a touchscreen.

The UI comes optimized for the screen size of the display; it retains the similar menu structure to Garmin products. Pilots can swiftly access the direct-to functions, locomotion maps, and waypoint along with terrain pages, plus frequency information via the touchscreen and make customizable data fields with short-cuts for rapid, one-touch access to significant information.

Cutting-edge Approach to IFR

Entirely WAAS/SBAS IFR-approach-capable, this marvel of GNC 355 provides pilots the advantage of flying LPV, along with Area Navigation approaches. Numerous approaches give vertical approach guidance above the ground level. Graphic approaches are available in GNC 355 and provide adjacent and vertical approach assistance in graphical flight conditions.

Powerful Comm Capabilities

GNC 355 and GNC 355A, come with 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz frequency channel spacing. Using inner frequency database, weather, and airport and Flight Service Station frequencies can be found easily and loaded to standby by selecting the frequency from the information page of the airport. The saved frequencies also give easy access to the frequency information. With the inbuilt standby frequency supervision, pilots can hear another frequency while staying on the assigned channel.

Flawless Touch

GNC 355 delivers a number of additional bonuses, including pictorial flight plan editing, letting pilots to easily edit flight plan based on weather or ATC amendment. Features like  FastFind simplify the flight plan entry via predictive logic to recommend airports and waypoints via current GPS location. The Smart Airspace makes it relatively easier to classify pertinent airspace on the moving maps. The diagrams of SafeTaxi® airport displays runways, and taxiways, and also Fixed Based Operators.

Connext® Cockpit Connectivity and Advanced ADS-B “In” Display

Added interface choices include pairing GNC 355 with a dual-link Automatic Reliant Surveillance-Broadcast such as GTX 345.
