The cloth you have chosen is then cut using these patterns and the final product is made. It gives you a superior fit to the body and clearly it is the biggest benefit of bespoke. It lasts longer than anything mass produced. It also offers the opportunity to develop a truly individual garment, not just in shape but in material, detail and finishing.

The main disadvantage of bespoke clothing is time. It takes a long process. Some positively enjoys the process but its not for the impatient customers. Also, it is expensive when compared to made to measure suits and readymade suits.

Made to measure suit is like a readymade suit, but with the benefit of an altered fit. One interesting aspect of made to measure is the cloth, buttons and other trimmings available. In some ways, the offering can be wider than bespoke. The problem with made to measure clothing is that the fitting is done by salesman, not a tailor.
