Bengal Institute Of Business Studies Ranked Amongst Asia’s 100 Best Private Education Institutes
KPMG has
conducted a recent survey to award the Asia’s 100 Best and Fastest Growing Private
Education Institutes. Various parameters were there and the jury members
rigorously scrutinized to choose the best institutions from a list of over 1000
institutes. The list of institutions was prepared, using existing listings,
rankings and other research reports and available sources. Best 250 Institutes
have been shortlisted and 360 research teams were sent to the institutes with a
detailed questionnaire in the initial phase to select the best institutes.
A great achievement of BIBS
It has been indeed a proud moment for all the people of Kolkata as BIBS has been ranked among Asia‘s 100 Best Private Education Institute lately after this long and meticulous scrutiny. This is one of the most prestigious awards of excellence. The journey of BIBS to reach here has not been easy. BIBS have been successful in delivering the best Managers globally. The students have been placed in reputed companies like Capgemini, Hindustan Unilever and many more. The Institute has the best people from the industry as their faculty members and the practical exposure the students get makes them the leaders in the field.
The institutes
were scrutinized in the second phase on the basis of 8 factors.
a. Admission process: The entire process included evaluation processes, fee structure
and the time frame in taking admission in a particular institute and other
factors, if any facilitating the admission process.
b. Infrastructure: This has been a major criterion as elements like
campus area/location, number of classrooms, library, Hostel, Wi-Fi campus,
laptop facilities, cafeteria and other facilities
c. Faculty: Another field that was looked upon Includes elements
like student/faculty ratio, total number of permanent/visiting faculty members,
faculty members with industry experience
d. Recognition (Awards & Accolades): Includes awards
and accolades received from various media/agencies and other renowned boards
e. Extra-curricular activities: Another parameter included extra-curricular activities
participation intra and inter colleges/schools/institutes, presence of various
clubs to promote student activities
f. Innovative Teaching: Ideas
were also shared where virtual Classes for higher standard, project and case
studies based learning, personality development classes
g. Parental Involvement: Something else was also noted that included Parents
Teachers Meetings, updating Parents about new developments in schools
h. Safety & Hygiene: The
regular health drives, fire drills, fire extinguishers, eco friendly classes
are there or not were checked
