Angled Valves for Wall Mounted Heating Pipes
Angled valves are used by your plumber when pipes are coming out of the wall instead of the floor. In this case you need a valve with a 90 degree angle to be able to fit the radiator to the wall.
It is for this reason that you should have a look at your heating system before you are going to buy new radiators.
If, for instance you were going to invest in a towel radiator and do away with a current conventional heater, you will notice that most of these modern rails have their flow and return openings on the side rather than the bottom of the appliance.
As with all modern heating technology, radiators are not only about heating a room but also about their aesthetic look. If you have such radiators you will be pleased to know that valves are also pieces of art these days.
It stands to reason that if you go to the expense of buying a good looking and stylish heater, you will want the pipework to complement the overall effect. For this reason manufacturers have begun to produce valves that are pieces of art in themselves.
If you are going to change some aspects of your heating systems, you may want to have a look at other valves used around the home. If you do not have TRVs or thermostatic control valves, you could fit these at the same time.
Because you can regulate the room temperature at the turn of a valve, you will save yourself some money on your heating bills. In the bathroom, however, you may want to fit a manual valve that you can turn yourself when you need some heat.
In our damp climate, it makes sense to have towel radiators fitted as there is not much opportunity to dry towels outdoors. This is especially true this summer when the sun did not shine too much.
Now we are approaching autumn and winter, you may want to have one of these fitted now before more bad weather sets in.
