A tool to reset Audi reset protection used electronic control units

I need a tool to replace Instrument Cluster in my Audi A4 2011. I borrowed a VVDI VAG diagnostic tool form my friend, but the device got "component protection", so I need adapt of spare part (reset protection used electronic control units). Can you recommend me a cheap device? I do not think I will use the tool often, so there is no need to invest a costly one. Thanks.

If the VVDI VAG diagnostic tool cannot accomplish the task, maybe you can try VAS 5054A.

VAS 5054A not only supports basis diagnosis, ABS and SRS lights reset, but also supports online programming. 5054A is able to reset every electronic control system in a car. Therefore you can reset the protection used electronic control units with tool via online programming.
