Ooty Lake

exploring this beautiful hilltop. It is one of the most popular destinations
where families go for picnicking, paddle boating, and strolling across the lush
meadows. Build in the year 1825, this is a 2.5kilometre-long lake that lets you
relish the beauty of the Nilgiris to the fullest. Spread over an area of 65 acres, the lake is
surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and dotted with shops selling local handicrafts.
Also, do not forget to visit the Wax
Museum that is located right next to the lake. You can find some beautiful wax
statues that are stationed inside the 130-year old colonial mansion.
