Campaign Upgrades!
Last night all Campaigns were stopped and credits were returned to you. That's because the Campaigns have been upgraded. The New Campaign system addresses the credit theft issue and should make your campaigns more visible.
First We limited the the different types of campaigns you can Create:
1. View Website (10 credits per click)-This Quick Task has not changed. You Still direct people to the page you want them to view and it is still auto approved
2.Add Comment (50 credits per click)-This campaign has been updated. You can Request comments on any webpage. APSense articles, your personal site we mean any page. We also addressed the credit theft issue. The Campaign creator must now approve comments before the system accepts the comment and releases credits. This means those spam links as comments will no longer be an issue.
3. Join Group (25 credits per click)-This campaign is for APSense groups only. The system will release credits once the group has been joined.
4. Paid to Subscribe to eZine (25 credits per click)- Just lick before you must subscribe to the specific eZine and not eZineSpace.
5. Join Fan Page (25 credits per click)-Yes you must join the fanpage on Facebook.
6. List to homepage spotlight (100 credits per 50 unique views)- Your campaign will be spotlighted on the homepage news feed. you can choose by role who you wish to see your campaign making it targeted. For example if your campaign is only of interest to small business owners you can target it to be seen by small business owners only.
Second I'm sure you noticed the cost per click on each item is set now. The cost for add comment has gone up.
This means that you won't see as many campaigns in the campaign feed. That means that campaigns will have a better change of being seen without all of the clutter. The max number of clicks for any campaign is now 30. Hopefully between the higher cost and the lowered max clicks will allow campaigns to run their course.
Update note-
One more thing to mention-Campaigns will automatically stop after 3 days. This will keep the campaigns fresh and prevent clogging of the system by campaigns 5 and 6 days old competing with newer campaigns and prevent that 'log jam' effect.
Also on the Add comment campaign if the campaign creator does not take action on the comments they will be auto approved by the system after 7 days.
With the change in campaigns, the requirements for joining each campaign have been updated. If you want the credits you must complete the campaign. Creators must also remember to ask for what you want for verification the standard is the user name of whichever site the campaign involves, APSense, eZineSpace or Facebook.

@Pink Lisa yes it is more limiting and that makes it fair for everyone creating a campaign. There will be no more creating 50 click campaigns that are still running days later and taking spots from newly created campaigns. Everyone's campaigns will now have a chance to be seen.
@vps it is much less confusing now the cost of campaigns is fixed. Rach campaign costs the same no matter who creates it. Approval is necessary because because certain campaigns require an action and the creator ha

Thanks for the update. The creator releasing the credits was a good idea, and I hope rumrunner, there won't be an issue with campaign owners giving credit correctly...well we will see.

I'm just a bit confused. A few people have joined my campaign to "like" my page on facebook, but their names are not appearing on my fb page. How come?

I agree with pplcheryl63 to me it looks confusing also The pupose of any compagn is to bring visitirs to its sie that is served once it is clicked so option of approval serves no pupose

It is becoming too numerous and confusing ? Could we have a simple straight and uniform plan is credits all at one go for all the features that Apsense has innovatively sewntogather? Having 10,25, 0r 50 credits differentially becomes too cumbersome to follow and understand ! Let there be one credit system which could bw basic to all and need to be multipled by a factor when opting out for different features in a compagn?

One reason APS is successful is that it listens to the members. Also, if it finds issues then it sets about righting them. Congratulations to the team for the improvements and expansion. Really think this will work,
