Campaign Upgrades!
Last night all Campaigns were stopped and credits were returned to you. That's because the Campaigns have been upgraded. The New Campaign system addresses the credit theft issue and should make your campaigns more visible.
First We limited the the different types of campaigns you can Create:
1. View Website (10 credits per click)-This Quick Task has not changed. You Still direct people to the page you want them to view and it is still auto approved
2.Add Comment (50 credits per click)-This campaign has been updated. You can Request comments on any webpage. APSense articles, your personal site we mean any page. We also addressed the credit theft issue. The Campaign creator must now approve comments before the system accepts the comment and releases credits. This means those spam links as comments will no longer be an issue.
3. Join Group (25 credits per click)-This campaign is for APSense groups only. The system will release credits once the group has been joined.
4. Paid to Subscribe to eZine (25 credits per click)- Just lick before you must subscribe to the specific eZine and not eZineSpace.
5. Join Fan Page (25 credits per click)-Yes you must join the fanpage on Facebook.
6. List to homepage spotlight (100 credits per 50 unique views)- Your campaign will be spotlighted on the homepage news feed. you can choose by role who you wish to see your campaign making it targeted. For example if your campaign is only of interest to small business owners you can target it to be seen by small business owners only.
Second I'm sure you noticed the cost per click on each item is set now. The cost for add comment has gone up.
This means that you won't see as many campaigns in the campaign feed. That means that campaigns will have a better change of being seen without all of the clutter. The max number of clicks for any campaign is now 30. Hopefully between the higher cost and the lowered max clicks will allow campaigns to run their course.
Update note-
One more thing to mention-Campaigns will automatically stop after 3 days. This will keep the campaigns fresh and prevent clogging of the system by campaigns 5 and 6 days old competing with newer campaigns and prevent that 'log jam' effect.
Also on the Add comment campaign if the campaign creator does not take action on the comments they will be auto approved by the system after 7 days.
With the change in campaigns, the requirements for joining each campaign have been updated. If you want the credits you must complete the campaign. Creators must also remember to ask for what you want for verification the standard is the user name of whichever site the campaign involves, APSense, eZineSpace or Facebook.

They had to click the link to your campaign to join it. so if they claim they never joined it it is a mystery to me too since they had to take some action to get included in it. I'll ask Wincer to check it when he signs back on tonight.

@pplcheryl63 Thanks but that does not explain the responses from people who claim the never selected the campaign in the first place. That's a mystery to me.

@Michael I just posted an article explaining the requirements for each campaign. The problem is that people must actually click that like button and they are not doing that. that has been explained to them in the other post.

My new "Like" my Facebook campaign with this "upgrade" has been a disaster. I've got 9 requesting credit approval and not one has performed the "Like" task. When I contact these people directly they have no idea what I'm talking about. It's been a waste of time and irritating - with the old system I may have had the odd fraud, but with this campaign it's 100% bogus. Something is definitely wrong with the system...

It is true and I noticed that some it cost more to promote compared to before. I thank you for bringing this subject up. I have been asked often to create group but mine never shows up as my group subject, but yet I happened to be promoting and works.

@Anne whan you create the campaign tell them to post their Facebook User name in the comments in case their FB name is different from the APSense name.
If they are not appearing on your facebook page in the likes menu it's because they never liked it. FB records likes on everyone who likes a page, not APSense. If you can't verify that they liked it decline the submission
