I am the worst housewife ever!
I am quite organised in online marketing but in household matters it is just the opposite. I hate cleaning and I do not like cooking. My favorite recipes are those that i can prepare in 5 minutes.We have lived in Germany for a while. We rented a house from the Dutch Air force who had a base there. One day the door bell rang and there was a painter at the door. "Madam", he said (of course he said it in German), "They have given me the task of the house rental cooperation to paint white the walls and sealing of your toilet". "OK", I said, "go right ahead". 5 minutes later he came into my living room. "Madam", he said, "Your toilet is full with spiders and spider webs!". "Just go back", I told him, "and paint the spiders and the webs white also". I will never forget the expression on that mans face!
Cooking: I can cook a decent meal but i don't like to do it. i spend as little time as possible cooking. I did spend more time on cooking when the children where little because i wanted them to eat healthy. It was good but never something really special. Amazing that one one of my son is now a cook and a good one too. One time he came in the kitchen when i was preparing soup. I was just crumbling the meatloaf in lumps above the soup pan. "Mom", he said, "Wkat are you doing?! You're supposed to make nice round little balls first from the meat loaf before you put them in the soup!" "Now, why should I do that", I replied, "the meat loaf tastes the same regardless if a make balls or lumps". For that reason I also never make meat balls. I have meat squares instead. I bake the whole package and than slice it.
Does my husband complain? Of course not. He is military. Which means:
- He is used to following orders
- he is used to byte the dust
- And he will eat anything!

@Philippe you make me blush. I have no time to play music either. I make time. It is self preservation and preservation of my relationship with my husband who sees my back side. When we are both playing in the bands we can at least share some quality time.

I actually don't mind the cooking, the cleaning however is definitely on my list of least favorite things! And we won't even start in on Laundry!

So happy to see I'm not the only one who don't like that stuff!!! *ugh* I used to cook for the kids but now they cook for me! one of my son's is an amazing cook. I keep trying to get him to open a restaurant... don't know how he took what I taught him and turned it into all sorts of good but he did! lol...
my hubby isn't military but he follows orders pretty well too! i'm grateful for that! ;0)

Well there is hope for me. In a few years i am moving to Turkey where i can hire a cleaning lady very cheap. And they have locanta's there; Turkish local restaurants where you can eat ver y good for 3 dollars or so.
