Kevin, you defined spam in the best and simplest way I've ever seen with your example of the interrupted conversation at a party. Now, I will delete my "spam hunter" comment, cause it's irrelevant.

Thank you all for the compliments. It is especially heart-warming since it is my first blog. Thank you Philippe for reporting the spam. You know, at first I thought, well they're just trying to get business like the rest of us. But the more I though about it, it is like having a conversation at a party with friends and then someone runs yelling "buy this, but that," It is rude and obnoxious, and impolite. So I did delete them. More proof that SPAM doesn't work.

In any business it is not enough to offer a quality product or service. You need to get customers to come and then again you need to be able to convince them to buy.

Having a list will help but then if you flood them with offers, you are likely to lose out too. Another important need for a business to succeed is traffic. the more quality traffic you get the better your chances of getting sales.

Different businesses have different definitions and not one would fit them all as you rightly

Hey kevin great blog i just finished writing a blog that has to do with never giving up. Businesses and online business can be tricky i have been doing business online for over 11 years and it is always changing. I Have Done both Sales and services business and success go hand and hand never give up and you will be successful well that is what i believe anyways and i still haven't gave up and i won't once you know what business your doing it can be easy to get customers.
