How to Make Your Campaign Interesting
Marketing campaigns cannot survive if they boring. Everyday there are more than three thousand marketing messages reaching out to the customers and it is really a huge competition if one expects to be recognized among the crowd. This message should talk to the customer and influence his mind. Strong, creative, confident and exciting are the key factors that a message should have, as that will embed it into the customer's thinking and he remembers it for a longer time. The customer should feel empowered and should think of taking some action right away. For instance Nike's catch line is Just do it, it's a line that has such a great impact on the minds of the people that they use that line even when talking about something else, along with Nike products. It is obvious that by adding certain features, the marketing appeal can be multiplied.
Uniqueness is the biggest key factor. Not only should the products and services be unique, the marketing campaign should be unique too. Not only will the effort be appreciated but also the impression will be everlasting. Once the customer's faith is gained, they will be like free walking advertisement and will readily spread the word to their friends and acquaintances.
But keep in mind that these tips are meaningless if your audience is not interested in your product, program, or service. That is why you need to stay true to your niche. Somethings may appear to appeal to everyone, but that seldom is the case.
Good Luck, and here's to your succes!

It's All Up to YOU! Act NOW!
Thank you Rona. An example I could have included is "Where's the beef". the catch phrase created by Dave Thomas of Wendy's Hamburgers.

This is a great article Kevin. I wish that you would have given another example beside Nike, eventhough I got the idea, but I would have like to see you use an example of your campaign that was creative. For me, it would have hit closer to home since I just did a campaign recently. I am looking forward to reading more of your articles.

LOL
Now, I might try that one when my name is an household word, in a few months ;)

Yes, the logo is just as important. When I see it on an athelete's hat, or wrist band, I think "Nike" right away. "Just Do It" might not work for you, but maybe "Phil's Da Man" will, LOL.

The Nike logo kind of helps too, wouldn't you say, Kevin?
I don't think that "just do it" on any banner of text ad of mine will fill my bank account. :)
Sorry, this is not a criticism of your article, because I like it. Just an opinion. We do need that kind of article to be written again and again and again, for new members as well as not so new ones like me :)
