Why do your visitors lose interest in your blog?
Blogging is like any other business which require total dedication and commitment. It is not necessary to blog lengthy post, as readers would not have the patience to read the complete post. As long as you could deliver the message to your readers with a short content on a topic of their interest, your blog would turn out to be readers choice in their entire blog subscribed list. If you have chosen blogging as your career or for marketing your business, there are certain guidelines you have to follow on a regular basis.
Hope these guidelines help your blogs to be more rewarding and take your business to greater heights.
- Post interesting topics that you believe would be interesting to your blog visitors and not blog on topics that you like. This is a grave mistake that most of us make.
- Never stuff your blog with too much of advertisement. It wouldn't have a professional look and visitors would run away, even though you post useful content regularly.
- Your blogs should be focussed on a niche subject. For example, if you are blogging on health topics, all your blog post should be related to health. It would also be considered spamming by search engines unless your blog is related to General Tips or News - here you can blog on different subjects, by posting blogs to the relevant category.
- Update your blog regularly. Though it is not necessary to blog daily, atleast blogging twice or thrice a week with very useful topics can drive more visitors to your blog and be crawled by search engines quickly.
- Designing your blogs in a professional manner is important to give the first impression about your blog to visitors. There are many fancy and colorful templates available on the web. Choose blog templates according to your blog subject. For example, if your blog is about kids care, the template should be created with attractive designs, yet using mild bright colors.

I agree ith this post. Some blogs have designs that have nothing to do with their topics. Although, they are still interesting. Thanks for the info. I will definately try to follow these guidelines.

Oneliner Blogs will get no backlinks, and has a 100% failure rate.
I use windows live writer to write my posts in advance and schedule the times i want them posted to my Blog.
Saves me alot of time and effort doing things manually.

Some of those may be an auto posting feature on some sites, even here. It just gives a link to something you have done. I just started using them, as kind of a lazy way to update my blogs..but I really do not like it. I have been deleting most of them and don't use that feature much anymore..I too feel a link is just not enough, and it is not much of a short cut if I have to go back and add keywords and content!!!
