I'm considering bringing back something that we used to do here

Since the group is growing, I'm considering bringing back our Business expert of the week.  It was a nice way to spotlight members and get them some extra exposure!  I thought I'd lay out the  guidelines:To Qualify:Must be an active contributor to the group-They Must add quality content through comments and or posts. Spam and plagiarism is not quality content.You must have an approved profile photo and your bio must be filled out
Rewards:You get to be a featured member.  A post will be created and stickied in the group with a link to your profile page.  You will also get a testimonial announcing that you have been chosen to display on your profile.You will be allowed to post a comment in the stickied post that tells us something about your business and why you are in it.  This comment will be stickied within the post.Other members can ask you questions about how you run your business or even about your business.  This is not to recruit anyone but to help all of us understand what you do and why you do it.
Consider it like going to an offline networking event and being the 5 minute speaker.
I'd like to get feed back from the group on this.  There are several people here that I would love to see "stuck" on the front page for all the RIGHT reasons!

I like the idea. almost every real world networking event you go to has a '5 minute speaker'. That person gets to explain what they do to the rest of the networkers so there is a greater understanding.

I have to many networking events and it's hilarious when during the introduction a dozen people stand up and say I'm a business consultant. So what do you consult on? There are so many areas that clarification is welcome.

That is the attitude to have we did have a lot of fun with that feature and l believe most of the members of this group enjoyed being selected the Business Expert of the week. Good way to get this group off the ground again and yes we have added many new members to this group...............Good Call!!!

Cheryl that is a great Idea, but we never expect anything less from you.:)
This will also help the growth of the group and will attract some more experts to contribute here.

I think that we'll be rolling it out soon. No I just need my 'admins' to get on the ball and make some suggestions! send me a PM with two or three names you suggest. Could see our first expert magically appear this weekend!
