How DO You Choose Your Programme or Opportunity?

Don't Be a MLM Junkie

What a great bunch of posts in this group! I am still not finished reading all of the posts, but definately will... as time permits.

We've got some great advice here on how to choose an opportunity; I think for many people the real trick is in not choosing too many! LOL. Don't get me wrong, I am a professional internet marketer and I do not like to put all my eggs in one basket - I am a strong believer in MSI (multiple sources of income), but you need to be careful to build one before you start another.

Building a business requires real work and a real commitment. You can easily spread yourself too thin if you are in the building phase of more than one business.

I started building multiple sources by refusing to even glance at any other program unless it was an affiliate program that would support and build my primary business. As an example, my marketing system is a complete suite of marketing tools and training including lead generation, and it pays me. I have created a nice little income stream using a system that actually drives my primary businesses.

My best advice is once you have chose a program or opportunity, stick with it, do not quit and do not be lured away. The grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. Once you learn how to build one business online, you can replicate that success in others, but get one off the ground first!

I totally agree, one needs the time to work with something and do it well first.

What a wonderful title.

It really does describe the way some people work on the internet. They join one MLM after the other waiting for the pot of gold, regardless whether the MLM product suits them, has a market or is well run . Before they have a chance to develope it, they rushg off an join ANOTHER one, and another one.... until they have so many potential streams of income, they have no time to work at any of them.

I agree that it is good to have more than one income streram - and sometimes safer not to put all your eggs in one basket, especially on the internet - but it is important to take on what you have time for and best if they are compatible with each other - so that you can work at them at the same time.

For an example - health products may well tie in with beauty products and there are several mlms who successfully combine he two products - as the buying public and networking people are often similar or the same. i combine my own angel workshop business with an advertising programme - as I have to advertise anyway - so why not gain another income stream at the same time. But make sure you know where to concentrate your efforts and dont lose sight of it,
