Review on Laurence "Wins" : writer and friend
I'm a prolific writer. In 4 months, I've written more than 120 articles at APSense, also about 20 RevPages. Some members say I write clearly. I get good feedback on many of my articles, sometimes amazing feedback on the content.
2 weeks ago, I created a page on my IM blog where I put the links to all my articles on the Internet.
The next day, I got a PM from Laurence. He was responding to a post I had written on the forum where he is the most active.
We hadn't talked for some time. He was happy to get some news from me.
I gave him the link to my blog's page I just mentioned. Inside, I told myself "He will be impressed by the number of articles I have written."
He gave me feedback.
With me, Laurence is totally honest.
He gave no comment on the quality of the information I had written.
No. Instead, Laurence acted like Laurence.
He commented on the quality of my writing. He mentioned that I'm not careful with punctuation.
I made a joke about his feedback then said I appreciated his input.
He responded he never hesitated to tell me the truth about the way I do things, cause he knows I can take it.
The other thing he mentioned was : work on the things I tell you, your writing will go from good to great.
Now that made my day ! :)
He did say he doesn't treat everyone like that. He figured out I am ambitious and always looking for ways to improve what I do.
In my humble opinion, Laurence could be an awesome teacher of writing online.
Go see his website. You'll get a better chance to know how he works.
If your first language is not English, it won't stop him. He will simply tell you what to do. Plain and simple.
Laurence, I hope you like this RevPage.

@Chuck Ferraro, you tried to get interest away from my RevPage by saying "I love passive income, do you?" @Kelvin, your quote has nothing to do with my RevPage. Not only both you didn't get the 20 credits when you joined my campaign for this RevPage, because I declined your comments, well you have also been reported for abuse. In 24 hours, I will delete your comments ( and this one here I'm writing right now ). Jan 23rd 2011 07:04 |

@Philippe Lawrence is your true friend. A friend is one who is not afraid to tell you the truth even if he knows you will not accept it. However, a mentor tells you how to get better, not just where you failed. I think Lawrence is both to you. Jan 23rd 2011 09:42 |

Hi everyone. I have been so busy that Philippe had to remind me to come and check this site again. I want to thank you all for your kind words. I believe in helping people where I can. Sadly, due to health reasons I can't do more. I will be adding more things to my site soon. I am writing an ebook on outsourcing, among other things, but have been tied up with clients as their work comes first. Jan 23rd 2011 19:08 |
