I started working in the Auto Parts business at the age of 9. My father had been the manager of an NAPA store in Nampa Idaho for several years at that point.

I spent the first few years taking inventory, stocking shelves and cleaning up. Around 12 years of age I got my first taste of working the counter.

At 16 I was also helping in the machine shop where I was doing machine work.

After high school I briefly moved to Phoenix, where I worked as a machinest at another auto parts store. While I was in Phoenix my father asked me if I want to go into business with him, so---

At nineteen my father and I opened an auto parts store in Glenns Ferry Idaho, where I still live. I personally got out of the auto parts business several years ago and my family has sold the business.

I now own and operate a small RV Park, 1/4 mile south of I-84 Exit 121 called RV Camp and Cabin.

In 1981 I decided to learn to weld and have been doing that in the area since 1982. Mostly during irrigation season.

During my years at the auto parts store I discovered that people really wanted to save money on fuel. I have to admit that some of them spent more money trying to find those savings than they ever were going to see profitable return from.

It became our mission to find a better answer, and from 1976 to 1978 we distributed several hundred cases of a product to more than 70 other auto parts stores in Idaho.

The product was inexpensive and worked, so most of our customers were repeat customers.

We had a lot of happy people. There is more to the story, but I won't bore you with it here.

I recently became interested in a new technology I discovered in early 2010, and decided to look at it closer. With "both eyes" you might say. It uses a different delivery method than a product that performed good for us and actually has more benefits than the other product had .
