Why is it impossible to get everything done?
by Abdou Sani Boukari ConsultantSeveral research studies have shown that people get more done when they follow careful plans that measure and track key priorities and milestones. By doing so, they become more successful, less stressed, and a lot happier at the end of each day.
But when they spend more hours on everything that comes up, they never get more things done.
The key question you should ask yourself is “Do I need to do this at all?”. The answer is to be sure that what you do is the right thing even if you can't make it well done at the moment. This is indeed one of the most common problems with a lot of time-management advice; too often productivity consultants focus on how to do things quickly, but the vast majority of things people do quickly should not be done at all.
“Why is it impossible to get everything done?” The answer is amazingly simple: we’re doing too many of the wrong things.
As Warren Buffet said: " you only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many wrong things". .
