WHAT is TELLONYM?

On Tellonym, it's not important what you look like, how many likes you get or how exciting your everyday life is. It's important, who you are, what you think and how you communicate.

Tellonym was built by focusing on three simple principles: We wanted to create a platform where you always have control over what is being posted publicly on your profile. A platform where it is super easy to engage with other people. A platform that changes the whole narrative of traditional social media - it's not you wanting to be part of the community, it's the community that wants you to be part of it.

This is why we built Tellonym around a simple, yet unique mechanism that combines the three principles: On Tellonym, you are able to write a person a message that can be sent anonymous and is only visible to the receiver. If the recipient decides to answer a message, the original message and the answer are posted on the receivers profile.

Through the requirement of answering a message to make it visible to others, we enable full control over the own profile. The anonymous part makes it super easy to engage with new people and the principle of asking somebody to post is the narrative changer.
