This is the most convenient way through which you can block any third party applications on Windows 10 and thus prevent the Intuit Download Manager error. However, if you install the applications from any other store then you will be prompted with a message stating ““you can only install apps from Windows Store”.

  • To begin with, you need to press the Windows + I keys altogether on your keyboard to open the Settings application on your workstation.

  • After that, choose the App & Features option.

  • Next, you will see the drop down menu list with 3 options then click on the “Allow apps from the store only” option.

  • In the end, restart your system to apply the changes successfully.

  • Then, you have to move to the following key in the Registry Editor : “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent”.

  • After that, double-click on the Cloud Content entry, to expand its window towards the right hand side of the screen.

  • Thereafter, right-click on the plain area in the Cloud Content entry to create a 32 bit DWORD value.
