The Features of Stainless Steel Diaphragm Valve
by Jeremy Liang SEO specialistStainless steel diaphragm valve is one of the earliest regulating valves. It has the following features:
1. Soft sealing rubber diaphragm valve can cut off the medium, ensuring there is no leakage.
2. Rubber has a certain degree of corrosion resistance. Before the 1960's, there was no better corrosion-resistant material. And it was often used as corrosion-resistant material for promotion and application.
3. The flow path is simple. It has a “self-cleaning” effect. It can be used for dirty medium.
4. Quick-opening feature. When used as corrosion-resistant regulating valve, the front part of the quick-opening features of it is used. The effective stroke is short, regulating quality poor.
5. Just like a fatigue testing piece, forcing it to fold up and down will easily cause damage, because diaphragm is an unreliable part. As a result, the valve has a relatively short service life. This is the fatal flaw. Because of this, we should eliminate the use of diaphragm valve, and use sanitary ball valve and full-featured ultra-light valve instead.
6. When it is closed, the medium pushes the diaphragm up, the unbalanced force is large, which requires relatively large actuator thrust. Therefore, we must choose particularly large and heavy actuator, which makes the valve very bulky. It is twice as heavy as ball valve and 3 to 4 times as heavy as full-featured ultra-light valve.
