interfere with the QuickBooks installation or usage. Here's how to add
QuickBooks as a trusted app in the antivirus:
- At first, open your antivirus
software and go to its settings or preferences.
- Look for an option called
"Exceptions," "Exclusions," "Whitelist,"
or "Trusted Applications."
- Click on the option to add a
new exception or exclusion.
- Navigate to the folder where
QuickBooks is installed. The default location is usually "C:\Program
Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks [year]".
- Select the QuickBooks
executable file, which has a .exe extension, and add it to the exceptions

QuickBooks.
- After that, hit on Properties
and thereafter choose the Open File Location tab.
- Once the QuickBooks folder
opens search for the .ND and .TLG files, right-click on them
and then click on Rename.
- Rename both files by adding .old
at the end.
- Now, restart QuickBooks and open
the company file(s) again.
