NFL has to benefit from this movement financially

I think that reality opens up the risk that a 2K sim match could become reality at some point.I definitely think that it's a big step that the NFL opened up the license at all, though EA asserts that their permit always only applied to"simulation" games. I don't think that it'll be much, although I really do think it will force EA to act in some shape or manner. Unfortunately their contract expiry also comes at a good time for EA and Madden, as EA only released in their statement that Madden 20 was the best-selling Madden ever.

I am cautiously optimistic about this information. I think this is excellent news in general, although I know that it's likely to become an arcade style game and that's sort of a let down. I think the NFL has to benefit from this movement financially. Everyone (like the NFL) knows this 2K deal isn't likely to be quite as rewarding as EA. The cash the NFL sees out of a move like this is a drop in the bucket in comparison to their overall earnings. I feel as though this is very much a trial run for 2K to find out if they have market and the ability to encourage matches.

I am not saying that the NFL will not expand EA next year, however I could see them giving them a much shorter bargain than last time in case Madden 20 NFL sells nicely. I think this movement proves that the NFL cares about how they are portrayed in their games at least a bit and I think they are open to having more than one game. I mean I might be all wrong, but that doesn't feel like a money grab movement by the NFL. This was not expected by anybody without involving 2K in any 23, and they could have easily become 2021 and extended EA for another decade.

This is not a guaranteed shift and I am moving with care but this seems like a step in the right direction and I feel as the reception Madden 20 NFL receives could shape the football video game landscape to buy mut coins for the next decade. So if have the disposable income, consider purchasing Madden 20 NFL. If does not initially appeal to you, consider giving it a try. Now if they expand EA for a different decade afterward we could string ourselves to trees and boycott Madden. But do not provide another motive to shut the door on another franchise that is possible to the NFL. Show let the NFL understand that there is a large market out there for more than 1 game and support for this title.
