After weeks of announcing the launch of Microsoft’s new flight simulator, the tech giant announced that the game will have three packages when it releases. With a premium, deluxe, and a standard pack to choose from, the game is set for launch on 18th August. The different packages are designed to hold separate amounts of content and quality of graphics.

But it was recently reported that there exist two boxes in the offline version and will hold a total of 20 discs. Aerosoft is handed the responsibility to launch the offline version of the game for Europe. The company is known for managing and working with only simulation games of all genres. Mathijs Kok from Aerosoft spoke about the boxes on their site forums. He said that the shipping of the physical version of the game begins around the 21st of August, i.e., three days after the game launches.

To chart down the contents of the discs, it will be the simulator’s code, 90 GigaBytes of data regarding the Earth and aircraft, third party documents, and online elective content. He assures that both the online and offline game experiences are identical to each other.

The only difference in the physical version is that the players will not have to download huge files off the internet. A few days back, Aerosoft posted the first look of both the boxes and began pre-booking. The basic package is priced at 60.34 Euros while the second pack is called “Premium Deluxe,” priced at 112.06 Euros. All versions of the game seem well-crafted, and the features like real-time climatic conditions, animals to Earth scale accuracy, and traffic are commendable. People who opt for the top-most pack of the game get to see ten extra airports compared to the cheapest package.

Before the game releases, the people who are a part of the Xbox Insider Program will be presented with an alpha version of the game, and later the beta version of the game will be released to all. The beta testing begins on the 30th of July, 2020. With all the specifications announced, it will be exciting to explore the game and decide if it is as good as it sounds. Kok promises a brilliant experience.

Recounting the first time he saw the game himself, he states that he was amazed by it. The company has also released stills of the game on their Twitter account. The journey this game has had since its original release in 1982, and the progress is commendable.
