There are not only oil inlet pipe but also oil return pipe in the fuel pipe of generator set. The diameter of the fuel inlet pipe depends on the inlet diameter of the fuel pump, which should be at least the same as the inner diameter of the inlet port; If the distance is too long, the diameter of the fuel pipe should be increased appropriately.

The initial freezing point and freezing point of diesel oil should also be paid attention to when selecting the oil pipe. When the temperature of diesel oil is close to these two values, it will become viscous, and the diameter of the pipe should be increased appropriately.The filter should consider the pressure drop of the joint and pressure reducing valve. The connection between the pipeline and the unit should be flexible, as close as possible to the fuel pump of the unit. The return pipe returns the excess fuel in the working cycle to the daily fuel tank, and its heat will dissipate in the tank. Note: the oil return pipe shall not be directly connected to the oil inlet pipe of the unit. Under normal conditions, the oil return pipe shall enter the storage tank and daily oil tank above the highest oil level. The return pipe of each unit shall return directly to the oil tank instead of merging the return pipe with other units. The size of oil return pipe shall not be smaller than that of oil supply pipe.

Finally, it should be noted that the maximum allowable temperature of fuel in front of the oil pipe injection pump of the generator set is 60 to 70, depending on the model.
