A brief review of QuickBooks Desktop Update Errors

QuickBooks Desktop update errors prevent QuickBooks from updating by displaying error messages or codes and can cause the system to crash or freeze. When users try to install an update, the application won't update, and they may encounter various error codes, including QuickBooks errors 404, 1328, 6190, 12007, 12038, 12045, 12157, and errors in the 15XXX series. Users usually receive a notification to update, but the errors prevent it from happening.

Causes of QuickBooks Desktop Update Errors

QuickBooks may need to close in order to install updates if the Date and Time settings on the Windows computer are incorrect.
