  5. Now use the switch located next to them to turn off and on the reminders.

Enable or Disable Automatic Workouts on iPhone

  1. Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone that is also paired with your Apple Watch.
  2. Then head to Workout. 
  3. Now head to towards bottom and find the Start Workout Reminder option and the End Workout Reminder option. (Anyone of these options will appear as per the current state of the feature.)
  4. Hit on the toggle switch to turn off or turn on Automatic Workout Detection on your watchOS 5.

Start Workout Reminder

The Workout Reminder, aka Automatic Workout Detection, is a feature developed to tell you by your Apple Watch to start the workout tracking with the watch. Generally, you get a reminder on your Watch that prompts you to start the workout.
