•    Press on the drop-down list located at the upper left-hand side of the browsing application to filter the music from the drop-down menu.

•    Search the music file which you wish to add to your iMovie.

•    Pull the music file to the Timeline folder located at the end of the application.

•    In case you wish to put the selected music in the background of the full video, then place it to the “Background Music” folder.

•    You can modify the music file individually from the other music folder.

Add Music to Your iMovie from Your Storage

•    Press on the arrow located in a silver rectangle on the downward direction. It is located on the upper side of the browsing software.

•    Go to the music file from which you wish to add music to your iMovie.

•    Press on the “My Media” option given under the arrow.

•    The music file will show as an olive color of wave shape image with the length located at the upper side of the thumbnail.

•    You can listen to the music in case you hover above it.

•    Click on the Space option.

•    Pull the music file which you have added to the timeline folder.

Steps to Convert Music Files to Supported Formats

•    You need to search for the AIFF converter.

•    Press on the “Choose Files” option and after that, find the music file which you want to convert to different formats.

•    Select 16kpbs in case you want for the audio bitrates.

•    Select 4.4 1 khz or 48khz if you wish to for the sample rate. It is are the common sample rate for the projects of the iMovie.

•    Press on the “Start Conversion” option and let the AFF converter to complete the preparing process of a new format.

•    Now, you need to start downloading the supported formats and after that., add music to your iMusic.
