How Polygon can be used to help track Ethereum transactions and Balance?

by Alicia Adley Blockchain Council

Polygon MATIC is an ethereum blockchain scalability platform that enables communication between them. Decentralized payment systems for companies and institutions are also built on top of it. "Ethereum's internet of blockchains" refers to the network's primary goal of fostering a multichain Ethereum environment.

We are glad to announce the debut of PoS Bridge Explorer, an online tool that makes it easy to monitor transactions between the Polygon PoS network and the Ethereum mainnet. polygon developers are in high demand, and it's no surprise!

It is possible to transfer money between Ethereum (deposit) and Ethereum (withdrawal) without any third-party risks or market liquidity limits using Polygon's two-way bridge. ETH, ERC20, ERC721, and ERC1155 are all supported, as are deposits and withdrawals that take 45 minutes to three hours.

Deployment of a service contract

The deployment of contracts may be a good measure of the progress of a blockchain project. A few anomalies emerge when comparing numbers from Ethereum and Polygon. In particular, I saw a far higher amount of ERC-20 tokens in Polygon contracts than I had expected. One ERC-20 token contract has been launched for every 220 other contracts that Polygon has released since April. A new ERC-20 token contract is created on Ethereum once every 1,430 seconds! Polygon is full with tokens with the same name. There are two main reasons for this: some developers are testing in production, while others are selling fraudulent tokens to fool users into purchasing them. There are several benefits to low-cost petrol.

Both the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains support the concept of addresses

We can keep track of how many active addresses there are on Ethereum and Polygon. According to Polygon's most recent data, on June 9th, 34% of all addresses were in this category. In April of 2021, I decided to review transactions on both Ethereum and Polygon to obtain a quick picture of what these addresses were doing on both chains. When it came to Polygon projects, this user group preferred Quickswap and Polycat.finance because of their ease of use. Uniswap's V2 router was Ethereum's most popular.

Aave on Polygon has onboarded around 17,000 of these overlapping addresses that had never used Aave on Ethereum. About 3,000 points separate Curve.fi from the pack.

Stablecoin adoption ‍

There is a wide disparity between the amount of USDT exchanged on Ethereum and the amount of USDC and DAI traded on a daily basis. Polygon users' transfer preferences, however, show USDC to be the most popular stablecoin. Stablecoin systems based on Polygon are being developed. IRON and miMATIC come to mind as two well-known instances.

Wrapping up

Ethereum's "Internet of Blockchains" has been called "Polygon." Excessive costs and a poor user experience among Ethereum's present problems are addressed by this solution (TPS). Ethereum-compatible blockchains are also a part of this multi-chain ecosystem.
