PART 1:
1. FOR CUSTOMER REPORT:-
- To find out this, go to Report menu in your QB software, choose Custom Report option and then select Transaction detail

- As you choose Transaction Detail, a window will appear in front of you saying Modify Reports, then you have to select the Customised report

- After this, go to the Display tab and move on with the instructions given:

- Now, you need to modify Report Basis either to Cash or Accrual

- Now, put data in 'From and To option', you have to fill in there by the time your sheets went out of order when they were wrong

- Set the Total By option to Customer

- After this, go to the Filter Tab option and follow the guidelines:

- You will see Filters list, there you have to select 'Transaction Type'

- After opening Transaction Type, select Multiple Transactions in filter detail information. After then, choose Invoice, Credit Memo, and Payment

- At last, select OK

If after performing these steps, you get Date and Customer having non-zero subtotal, then that's the customer who has damaged the transaction. Suppose, if you get total as non-zero but not that amount and date by which B/S were out of date, you are
required to add an Another Transaction to the Filter type. More often, you are required to add some journal entries and checks also.

2. FOR VENDOR REPORT:-

- Finally, press OK

If, the total received by you is the amount by which your balance went wrong and for that particular date, you have to find out who has non-zero subtotal and that's the vendor who has damaged the balance If after following these steps, you get the total that is non-zero but not that amount by which your
b/s (Balance Sheet) gone wrong, you need to add Another Transaction to filter type.
