High Demand Means We Have Extended Our Range Of Floor Graphics Media

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

A key characteristic of our service here at Prizma Graphics has long been our responsiveness to wide-ranging and sometimes fast-evolving customer requirements – and this much has certainly proved to be the case with the category of our store dedicated to floor graphics.

The continued high demand for social distancing signs for use in commercial premises such as supermarkets has led us to expand the range of floor graphics media that we make available online.

So, what specific products can you choose from, and what features do they have that will dictate their suitability – or otherwise – for your own intended application?

Floor graphics media that covers all your requirements

You can find our up-to-date range of floor graphics products as a subcategory of the lamination and mount film part of our online store. All of our floor graphics media has been tested and certified as suitable for use on floors, with anti-slip ratings, and test certificates are available for all of these products on request.

As for the specific options that you may consider, these include various sizes of Crystal Matt Laminate Floor Film, in both 80-micron and 100-micron guises. The two broad variants of this over-laminate film have much in common, including a good anti-scuff finish and R9 rating, as well as their suitability for use with UV, solvent and eco solvent inks alike.

However, while both the Crystal Matt Laminate Floor Film 80 and 100 are matt clear films that are UV stabilised, the 100 sports a deep crystal embossed texture, as opposed to the moderate texture of the 80. Both of these films also have a minimum expected in-use life of two years indoors, traffic volume dependant.

But we can also offer other in-demand solutions

Our expanded range of floor graphics media is not solely about Crystal Matt Laminate Floor Film, of course, as those who read our recent news update on Sandtex pressure-sensitive laminate film will be aware.

Sure enough, this particular 150-micron film continues to impress, being available in rolls of 1040mm x 50m, 1300mm x 50m and 880mm x 50m, all on a 3” core. This film’s scuff-resistant textured finish has helped to make it a strong seller lately as a durable over laminate.

Finally, we are also pleased to be able to offer Floorwall 150. This all-in-one product takes the form of self-adhesive, white PVC faced printable media, enabling the straightforward creation of stunning floor graphics for indoor use. Whilst this media has a very good initial grab, it is coated with a removable clear adhesive.

As its name indicates, Floorwall 150 is a 150-micron product. It also has an R10 rating, and a minimum expected in-use life of two years for walls, with its lifespan for flooring depending on such factors as traffic volume and type.

With demand for these aforementioned products being so high at the moment, it’s a good idea to discuss your own stock needs with us in advance, so that we can build individual requirements into our ordering system to avoid disappointment.  In addition to the above range of media, we also provide floor graphic solutions for outdoor applications requiring durable and superior anti slip ratings and are happy to discuss your specific requirements.

Also bear in mind that as usual with our various media for use with wide-format printers, samples are available on request, and you are welcome to call us for volume pricing.
