We may not have entirely returned to ‘normality’ yet after months of lockdown, but we have all made significant progress – and here at Regency Park Hotel, we’re pleased to confirm that our doors are now open once more for bookings from the wider public.

What’s changed since you last joined us?

In common with other hotels around England, we have been permitted by the Government to reopen since 4th July, provided that we implement measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission on our premises.

The great news is that with some significant changes to how we carry out daily tasks around the hotel having already been made before we closed amid the initial lockdown, we were already well on our way to optimising our practices for keeping our staff and guests safe.

Nonetheless, if you stayed with us prior to the COVID-19 crisis, you’ll certainly notice some other changes to how we do things, including the use of safety screens at reception and social distancing markers on the floor. We will also contact you ahead of your arrival day to ask you to give us an estimated time for when you’ll reach the hotel; this will allow us to make check-in so much quicker.

With regard to dining, we are now offering room service with no tray charges, and have reconfigured our restaurant, bar and lounge areas to allow for social distancing.

Such safety measures have also made it possible to be ready to welcome our guests back to our Leisure Club with complete confidence on the 25th July when gym facilities open up across the UK.

So, enough of the mundane measures – what about the excitement?
